Maurice Cole Tanquary

Maurice Cole Tanquary (November 26, 1881 - October 25, 1944) was a professor of entomology at Kansas State Agricultural College then became the chief of entomology at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in 1919. He was a member of the Crocker Land Expedition with Walter Elmer Ekblaw. He is considered to be a pioneer in modern beekeeping.[1][2]
